About the school
This forward-thinking international school welcomes children in a warm, nurturing, inclusive community. It is part of a well-established group of schools in Sharjah. The group is government-owned, managed as an independent school and works in collaboration with the Victorian Department of Education and Training.
The school follows the Australian (Victorian) Curriculum. Early years learning is guided by the Victorian Developmental Framework, which builds strong foundations in communication, thinking and learning through purposeful, play-based and child-centred experiences. Arabic, Islamic Education and UAE Social Studies are taught in line with UAE Ministry of Education requirements.
The school opened in 2022 and is a friendly, close-knit campus with small classes and a low pupil-to-teacher ratio. It was rated “Good” in its most recent external inspection. Its values of Learning, Excellence, Diversity, Community and Integrity shape everyday life, and it is committed to helping every child become a confident, reflective and responsible learner.
About Sharjah
Sharjah is widely regarded as the cultural capital of the UAE, with a long-standing commitment to arts, heritage and education. It was named UNESCO World Book Capital in 2019 and hosts the Sharjah International Book Fair each year. Its museums, festivals and the historic Heart of Sharjah district sit alongside family attractions such as the Arabian Wildlife Centre, Al Qasba canal and Al Majaz Waterfront.
Safe, welcoming and family-friendly, Sharjah has a lower cost of living than neighbouring Dubai, which is just a short drive away. With sunny weather for most of the year, and desert, mountain and coastal escapes within easy reach, it is a great place to live and work. It is a culturally conservative emirate, so respect for local customs is expected.
