Coleen founded her first international education recruitment business in 2019, building on three years of executive search experience in the Middle East and a decade in UK education recruitment. Having seen clients prioritise speed over transparency, often misrepresenting job requirements, she realised there was room for change in the recruitment process to emphasise honesty and build stronger, more authentic connections between employers and candidates. She founded chk Education to offer a transparent, mission-driven service that puts people before profit.

In 2024, Coleen partnered with Helen, whose extensive international experience includes Headships in England, Business Director and CEO of Wellington College China Group, and overseeing inspections for over 1,500 schools. Their shared values and expertise form the foundation of chk Education. Together, they share a commitment to shaping the future of international education.
