REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related field)
- Recognized teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGCE, M.Ed, or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of secondary science teaching experience
- Experience teaching American Common Core science standards and/or IB Diploma Programme Sciences (preferred)
- Native or near-native English proficiency
- Valid teaching license/certification from home country
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Excellent subject knowledge in one or more science disciplines
- Strong laboratory safety knowledge and practical skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students in scientific inquiry and investigation
- Experience with hands-on laboratory work and scientific methodology
- Effective communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to diverse learning environments
- Collaborative approach to curriculum development and department work
- Enthusiasm for extra-curricular activities including science clubs and competitions
- Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning platforms
