An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and experienced Secondary Biology Teacher to join a well-established British international school in Bang Lamung, Thailand.
The school offers a broad, academically ambitious education following the English National Curriculum, leading to internationally recognised IGCSE and A Level qualifications.
The successful candidate will teach Biology across the secondary age range, with KS3 and IGCSE experience essential. A Level Biology experience is highly desirable.

Required qualifications
- A valid recognised teaching licence is essential, such as PGCE, QTS or a US teaching licence, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- A degree in Biology, Science or a closely related subject.
- Previous experience teaching Biology at secondary level.
- Experience teaching KS3 and IGCSE Biology.
- A Level Biology experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to meet the relevant visa and work permit requirements for Thailand.
Essential skills
- Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong subject knowledge in Biology and a genuine enthusiasm for the subject.
- The ability to inspire students and make Biology engaging and accessible.
- Strong experience teaching KS3 and IGCSE.
- A strong understanding of curriculum planning, assessment and student progress.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A Level Biology teaching experience would be a significant advantage.
- Flexibility and adaptability within an international school environment.
- A positive, professional and student-centred approach.
- A willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider school community.
