Required qualifications
- A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS or a US teaching licence
- A relevant degree and recognised teacher training qualification
- Appropriate experience teaching within the primary phase
- Eligibility to obtain the relevant UAE employment and residency documentation
- Candidates should be able to provide satisfactory references and documentation verifying their qualifications and employment history

International teachers must demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding, child protection and pupil wellbeing. The successful candidate will:
- Prioritise the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children at all times
- Understand their professional responsibilities regarding safeguarding and child protection
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with pupils
- Recognise and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns
- Promote a safe, respectful and inclusive classroom environment
- Demonstrate sound professional judgement and integrity
- Be willing to follow all school safeguarding policies, procedures and reporting requirements
- Understand the importance of working collaboratively with colleagues, families and safeguarding professionals
- Be committed to ongoing safeguarding training and professional development
