About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mathematics educator to lead Mathematics teaching across upper primary and lower secondary years. The successful candidate will teach Mathematics while serving as a Group Advocate, supporting students’ academic, pastoral and personal development. They will help develop students’ fluency, reasoning, problem-solving skills and confidence, while contributing to the ongoing development of Mathematics provision and collaborating with colleagues to deliver a high-quality learning experience.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics or a related field
• Valid teaching licence or qualification such as PGCE, QTS or a recognised US teaching licence
• Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience teaching Mathematics within primary and/or lower secondary settings
• Experience within an international school environment is advantageous
Essential Skills
• Strong knowledge of Mathematics curriculum frameworks, including the UK National Curriculum, Cambridge or similar international programmes
• Ability to teach Mathematics across upper primary and lower secondary age ranges
• Deep understanding of mathematical reasoning, conceptual learning, fluency and problem-solving
• Experience differentiating learning to meet individual student needs
• Ability to deliver engaging lessons using approaches such as visual models, manipulatives, inquiry-based learning and Singapore Mathematics methodologies
• Strong assessment and progress-monitoring skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with students, parents and colleagues
• Ability to teach additional subjects or interdisciplinary learning units where required
• Highly organised, adaptable and committed to continuous professional growth

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. They will understand their professional responsibilities in creating safe, inclusive and supportive learning environments and will maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and ethical conduct.
Candidates should be able to build positive relationships with students, recognise safeguarding concerns, follow appropriate reporting procedures and contribute to a culture where student wellbeing remains a priority.
