Position: Lower Primary (KS1) Teacher
Location: Kalba, Sharjah, UAE
Salary: AED 10,000 – 16,000 per month (depending on experience)
Curriculum: Australian Curriculum (PYP experience preferred)
Start Date: August 25, 2024
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lower Primary (KS1) Teacher to join a leading international school in Kalba, Sharjah. The school prides itself on providing a nurturing and stimulating environment, with a focus on academic excellence and holistic development.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
  • Support the development of foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional learning.
  • Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related teaching qualification.
  • At least 2 years of experience teaching Lower Primary (KS1).
  • Familiarity with the Australian Curriculum is preferred; PYP experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • A passion for early childhood education and fostering a love of learning.
