About the School

This is a vibrant and inclusive British international school for students aged 3 to 18, offering a through-school experience from Early Years to Sixth Form. With a current enrolment of around 550 students, the school maintains a family feel while offering high academic standards and modern facilities. The student body is predominantly Malaysian, with representation from over 16 nationalities, fostering an international outlook and community. Class sizes range between 17–22 students, allowing for individualised learning and meaningful teacher-student relationships. The school delivers a rich and broad education based on the English National Curriculum, tailored to meet the needs of its diverse learners.

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Key Stage 1 (Year 1) Teacher to join a dedicated two-form entry team. You will work collaboratively with a partner teacher and wider primary team to deliver an engaging, inclusive and creative curriculum that supports children’s development and academic progress. The successful candidate will contribute to a collegial and supportive environment where ideas are shared and staff are empowered to innovate.

Required Qualifications:

• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, BEd, or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably within the UK system or British international schools

Essential Skills & Candidate Profile:

• Solid understanding of the English National Curriculum, particularly in KS1
• Recent UK-based experience or experience in a British international school setting
• Passion for early childhood education and child development
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Tech-savvy with the ability to integrate digital learning effectively
• A warm, inclusive approach with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to collaborate, reflect, and grow professionally within a team
