About the School

This is a vibrant and inclusive British international school for students aged 3 to 18, offering a through-school experience from Early Years to Sixth Form. With a current enrolment of around 550 students, the school maintains a family feel while offering high academic standards and modern facilities. About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Key Stage 1 (Year 1) Teacher to join a dedicated two-form entry team. You will work collaboratively with a partner teacher and wider primary team to deliver an engaging, inclusive and creative curriculum that supports children’s development and academic progress. The successful candidate will contribute to a collegial and supportive environment where ideas are shared and staff are empowered to innovate.

Required Qualifications:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, BEd, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably within the UK system or British international schools

Essential Skills & Candidate Profile:

  • Solid understanding of the English National Curriculum, particularly in KS1
  • Recent UK-based experience or experience in a British international school setting
  • Passion for early childhood education and child development
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to integrate digital learning effectively
  • A warm, inclusive approach with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to collaborate, reflect, and grow professionally within a team
