Job Title: IB French Teacher
Location: Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
Salary Range and Package Details: AED 12,000–16,000 per month + full international benefits including 2 free school places, housing allowance or provided accommodation, annual return flights, private medical insurance, and end-of-service gratuity

Role Overview The school is seeking an experienced and dynamic IB French Teacher to join its growing secondary team. The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, and strong subject knowledge to the role, delivering engaging French language lessons across the MYP and DP levels. The teacher will also contribute to co-curricular activities and uphold the school’s commitment to internationalism and intercultural understanding.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in French, Modern Languages, or related field
  • Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching French at the secondary level
  • Experience teaching IB MYP and/or DP French is strongly preferred

Essential Skills:

  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of IB philosophy
  • Ability to deliver engaging, inquiry-based language instruction
  • Familiarity with MYP criteria, DP assessments, and curriculum planning
  • Commitment to student wellbeing, inclusion, and intercultural understanding
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • A passion for languages and lifelong learning
