The Role As Head of People, Talent and Culture, you will be the architect of our human capital strategy and the champion of our organisational culture across the school group. This strategic leadership position offers the unique opportunity to create and lead a high-impact HR function from the ground up, whilst fostering a people-centric culture that attracts, develops, and retains exceptional talent in international education.
Key Impact Areas:
- Create and lead strategic HR function aligned with British and IB educational values
- Develop comprehensive talent acquisition strategies for international education market
- Foster inclusive, high-performance culture across multiple school sites
- Build and implement group-wide performance management and development systems
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive People, Talent and Culture strategy aligned with the group’s mission, vision, and values
- Act as a strategic advisor to the Group CEO and leadership team on all human capital matters
- Collaborate with School Principals to ensure HR practices meet school-specific needs whilst supporting group-wide consistency and excellence
- Develop the Central P,T&C team effectively so that they optimally support operations
Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning
- Lead recruitment strategies to attract high-quality educators, school leaders, and support staff from international and local talent pools
- Oversee workforce planning to ensure the right staffing levels, skills mix, and succession planning across the group
- Champion the employer brand to position the group as an employer of choice in international education
Employee Relations and Engagement
- Foster a culture of trust, inclusion, performance, and engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and timely resolution
- Implement staff satisfaction and engagement surveys and lead follow-up improvement initiatives
- Implement EXIT interviews to inform future, enhanced operations
Performance and Development
- Design and implement a group-wide performance management system that encourages professional growth and accountability
- Coordinate professional development programmes aligned with British and IB frameworks and personalised teacher growth plans
- Support School Principals in building and retaining high-performing teams and leadership pipelines
Policy, Compliance and HR Operations
- Ensure HR policies comply with Saudi labour laws and international best practices in education
- Standardise HR procedures and systems across all schools to ensure efficiency and compliance
- Lead compensation, benefits, and HRIS development and management
Culture and Organisational Development
- Drive initiatives that build and reinforce a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture
- Promote values-driven leadership and champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) across the group, as applicable
- Act as the guardian of the group’s values and culture, embedding them in all HR practices and be instrumental in promoting them across the other functions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) preferred
- Minimum 8 years of HR leadership experience, ideally within international education or multi-site organisations
- Strong understanding of British and IB school culture and international education standards
- Experience working in the Middle East is an asset
