Required Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Music or related field
– Teaching qualifications – PGCE or BEd or MEd essential
– Significant experience teaching Music at secondary level
– Experience with IB/IGCSE Music curriculum
– Proven leadership and management experience
Essential Skills
– Strong track record in departmental leadership and curriculum development
– Experience in organizing school performances and musical events
– Excellence in teaching across all secondary year groups
– Proven ability to lead and inspire a team of music teachers
– Strong budget management and administrative capabilities
– Experience with both classical and contemporary music education
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
– Ability to develop and maintain strong parent relationships
– Commitment to extracurricular activities and school life
– Cultural sensitivity and adaptability
