Required qualifications
- A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS or a recognised US teaching licence.
- Proven experience teaching both History and Geography within a British curriculum school.
- Experience delivering the English National Curriculum and IGCSE programmes.
- Previous middle leadership experience or the readiness to step into a Head of Department position.
- Fluent English speaker with an IELTS score of 7.0 or above where applicable.

- Proven ability to raise attainment and improve student outcomes.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Experience leading curriculum development across the Humanities department.

- Highly organised, reflective and committed to continuous improvement.
- Able to foster a culture of high expectations, curiosity and academic excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships across the school community.
