Position: Middle School English Teacher
Location: Kalba, Sharjah, UAE
Salary: AED 10,000 – 16,000 per month (depending on experience)
Curriculum: Australian Curriculum (PYP experience preferred)
Start Date: August 25, 2024
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Middle School English Teacher to join a leading international school in Kalba, Sharjah. The school is dedicated to providing a supportive and dynamic environment where students thrive academically, socially, and creatively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach engaging English lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum to middle school students.
- Foster critical thinking, creativity, and a love for literature and language.
- Develop and deliver lessons that cater to diverse student abilities and learning styles.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to a positive school culture by collaborating with staff, parents, and the wider community.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field with a teaching qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the middle school level.
- Experience with the Australian Curriculum is preferred; PYP experience is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- A passion for teaching and inspiring young learners to achieve their potential.
