Are you ready to shape the future of international education at one of China’s most prestigious bilingual schools? We’re seeking a fantastic Elementary Teacher to delivery lessons up to Grade 4 in our school that follows the Chinese National Curriculum, which is delivered 50% in Chinese and 50% in English. The English-medium learning side of the curriculum follows an enquiry based approach, in order to prepare students for IB Diploma in later years.
What you will champion:
As an Elementary Class Teacher, you will have the incredible opportunity to create a warm, play-based, and language-rich atmosphere that fosters high-quality learning, student agency, and independence. You will build meaningful and caring relationships with students, parents, and fellow staff members, motivating your students to develop a love for learning.
Your expertise will be instrumental in equipping students with the knowledge and skills they need for deeper conceptual understanding. You will play a critical role in supporting student wellbeing and instilling strong character attributes that are essential for leading a successful and purposeful life. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with colleagues to develop an exciting, academically challenging, inquiry-based curriculum designed to enhance each student’s language competencies.

What Makes You Perfect for This Role:
- You’re an outstanding Elementary educator with a track record of excellence in international education
- You will need to hold BEd, PGCE, QTS or Teaching Licence
- You thrive in a bicultural environment and understand the nuances of international education.
- Due to the start date of the role, ideally you will already need to be in country.
