Job Title: Careers Counsellor (with IB DP university guidance experience)
Location: Bahrain
Salary Range and Package Details: Inclusive monthly salary of BHD 1,500–1,800 (approximately $3,960–$4,750 USD), along with a full international benefits package, including:

School Background & Curriculum: This established international school in Bahrain offers a well-rounded education through the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP), along with an American-style curriculum. Required Qualifications:

  • A degree in Counselling, Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • A recognised qualification in Careers Guidance or School Counselling
  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a similar school-based role, preferably in an international or IB setting
  • Experience specifically supporting IB DP students with university and career planning

Essential Skills:

  • Strong understanding of IB Diploma Programme and global university application processes (including US, UK, and other international systems)
  • Experience guiding students through post-secondary planning and career exploration within the IB framework
  • Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and higher education institutions
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • A student-centred approach with a commitment to inclusive, supportive guidance services
